New Delhi: Under the aegis of the Steel Consumer Forum (SCF), New Delhi, appointment letters were presented today by SCF officials to the candidates selected for various Central and State-level positions.
The appointment letters were presented by the National Chairperson of the Steel Consumer Forum, Smt. Nivedita Sharma. The event was attended by Dr. Santosh Rai, Additional Head of the Viksit Bharat Abhiyan and Central Coordinator of the Steel Consumer Forum; Major Ramesh Chandra Upadhyay, Central Vice President; Shri Rajiv Lochan Srivastava, Central Director; Shri Deepak Mishra, Chief Member of the Steel Advisory Board and Chief Guest (Retired Special Commissioner of Delhi Police); and Sardar Shri Ravi Ranjan Singh, Advisory Member of the Steel Consumer Forum, among others.
On this occasion, Smt. Harjeet Kaur, retired from the Legal Department, was appointed to the post of Secretary in the Central Executive of the Steel Consumer Forum. Additionally, Shri Veer Singh, retired from the Delhi Police, was appointed to the Central Investigation Unit. They were presented with their appointment letters by National Chairperson Smt. Nivedita Sharma and Chief Guest Shri Deepak Mishra.
The state-level appointments announced during the event are as follows:
- Gujarat: Shri Patel Vijaykumar Fulabhai (Social Worker) was appointed as the Gujarat State President.
- Chhattisgarh: Shri K. Laxman Das (Steel Industry Expert) was appointed as the Chhattisgarh State President.
- Uttar Pradesh: Shri Sourav Agrawal (from Kosikalan-Mathura) was appointed as the State Vice President.
- Delhi: Smt. Sushma Singh (Social Worker) was appointed as the Delhi State Director.
Shri Pravin Dutt Chaturvedi was appointed as the Delhi State Director of the Iron & Steel Business Promotion Council.
Smt. Usha Gupta (Social Worker) was appointed as the District Member for North-West Delhi.
The appointment letters to all the state and central designees were jointly presented by Central Coordinator Dr. Santosh Rai, National Chairperson Smt. Nivedita Sharma, and Central Vice President Major Ramesh Chandra Upadhyay.
Dr. Santosh Rai extended his heartiest congratulations to all the newly selected central and state officials. He urged them to actively work toward promoting the steel industry in their respective states, creating employment opportunities for the youth, and ensuring maximum benefits for stakeholders in the steel sector. Dr. Rai also emphasized the importance of maintaining steel quality and achieving zero carbon emissions, assuring that the Steel Consumer Forum would provide full support to the industry while steadfastly protecting the interests of steel consumers.
National Chairperson Smt. Nivedita Sharma shared her insights regarding the growth of the steel industry and consumer welfare, wishing all the newly appointed officials a successful tenure ahead.
